The inspiration for the name came from La Norma by Vincenzo Bellini and the most famous interpretation of this “song to the moon” by Maria Callas. Just like Norma’s voice, Castadiva starts almost whispering but then explodes in blooming heart notes of frangipani. Exuberant and sparkling but misterious at the same time. Energising, rejuvenating and magnetic, wearing this perfume will turn a woman into a real star: whether it's a party, a cocktail, or a special occasion, a heavenly aura of romantic charm and the fragrance of Osmanthus will pervade the imagination and the senses of those around her. 

 "Dabbing a hint of Castadiva, by the Italian niche company Nobile 1942, onto the back of my wrist, he explains how the scent was inspired not just by Bellini’s classic aria Castadiva (from the opera Norma), but by the on-stage requirements of opera singers, who have long been banned from wearing perfume during performances because of the effect it might have on the voices of the entire cast. Castadiva’s delicate accords of frangipani, Egyptian jasmine and white musk are designed to unfold gradually, so that not a hint of fragrance would be diffused during a performance—but by the time a diva arrived back in her dressing room to greet her admirers, her scent would be in full flow"

    My signature scent

    I had flew in from Seattle and had to visit this perfume store to find my new signature sent and I absolutely fell in love with this one. It is different than any other scent that I have, which I have many, this one is captivating and fresh. The staying power is absolutely out of this world. Whether you spray it on clothes or skin, you will be able to trace this perfume from a distance.

    The atmosphere in this shop is very peaceful, very clean and the employees there were very friendly!
